Our jobseeker prototype tool


Hi everyone,

I asked you to share your experiences and frustrations with the current job market a few days ago. What I heard matched the feedback I've captured since moving into recruiting in 2018.

Some of the biggest frustrations were:

  • Trying to work around Applicant Tracking System (ATS) scoring to improve application-to-interview rates undermines the value of genuine skills and experiences.
  • Job postings that don't accurately reflect the day-to-day responsibilities of the role.
  • Cumbersome interview processes that often fail to let the candidate fully express their experience related to the job.
  • There is no or poor communication from the recruiting team, which is incredibly frustrating after a lengthy process.
  • Hours of wasted prep work for every application, with no visibility into the status of the role.

It's clear that outdated recruitment methods, designed for an era when job seekers vastly outnumbered open roles, are no longer viable.

What's coming:

We're finishing our prototype job seeker tool, which will put the ball back in your court while enabling recruiters and hiring managers to quickly connect with active job seekers.

Some of the key features at launch include:

  • A personal job board that finds and scores top jobs based on your preferences and feedback (no more searching)
  • A job search management tool that gives you visibility across all active job applications, including the ability to add external jobs
  • Detailed company information collected in one central resource to kick start your pre-interview research

Early users will get to help shape the product roadmap, with some exciting features coming at launch or soon after, including:

  • Personalized interview prep using AI
  • Company news tracking
  • Ideal candidate profiles
